This 12 year old crossbred gelding is the complete package! Bose stands a stout well built 16.2 hands tall and is a stunningly marked tri-color paint- he has just enough feathers to be flashy without being high maintenance. Bose is a gentle giant- total in your pocket personality, and absolutely loves love and attention. Bose is easy to handle and has lovely ground manners, he stands tied single or on cross ties and is patient while being groomed, bathed, clipped, tacked up and is also a gentleman for the vet and farrier. Bose loads into any style trailer and will back off calmly in new places without needing prep to go ride- just saddle up and enjoy your day! Bose is an absolute trail horse deluxe!!!!! Truly one of the nicest trail horses I’ve sat on, has a nice neck rein, easy to stop, backs up, moves his shoulders around and is virtually unflappable! Bose will ride out alone or in a group and doesn’t mind being out in the lead, in the middle of the group or bringing up the rear! He doesn’t mind if horses ride up behind him or tightly beside him and is traffic and dog safe too! Bose will cross water, dead fall, rough and uneven terrain and is GREAT to trail blaze on just point and this gelding will go anywhere you need. He has seen wildlife from small game to big white tail deer and never startled or even snorted at them. He is safe and steady enough for all levels of riders and would be a fantastic addition to any family or would be a great horse for a guided trail riding service. I have ridden him down the hard road with cars, bikes and joggers going by and he was a champ- I even rode him through construction where loud equipment didn’t even get an ear flick from him. I could also see Bose being an outstanding therapy horse with his gentle demeanor and fearless mindset. He rides english, western or even bareback and we have had three kiddos on his back at one time taking pony rides around and he took great care of them!! We have ridden him with the flag- flapped it all around him, twirled above his head and draped it over his eyes without a single issue. I have rode him around and opened/closed and spun a giant 6’ beach umbrella from the saddle and again without a single issue. We have had him drag sleds around roping pull across his butt etc and again without a single issue. You can throw a rope off him, push and track cows and check fence lines one day then the next take him out on trail jump logs and then use him for a handicap adult or child to learn to balance and use their core while doing exercises from the saddle. If you’re looking for a big beautiful horse to safely enjoy on trails, over night camping and any kind of exploring this is your guy! Bose truly is a one of kind gem.
